Ewa and Warren Jones are passionate advocates of quality food and pioneers in the Australian native bushfood industry. Inspired by the vision of creating a truly unique Australian cuisine, they began their journey in 1995 in the Adelaide Hills. What started as an experimental and often challenging effort to cultivate native food plants soon evolved into a thriving venture. From these early beginnings, Tumbeela Native Bushfoods was established, becoming a trusted name in sustainably grown Australian bushfoods and native ingredients.

Tumbeela has built a broad and diverse customer base across Australia’s food and hospitality industry. Our clients include professional chefs, restaurants, hotels, food manufacturers, distilleries, cheesemakers, cocktail bars, value-added producers, and passionate home cooks.

Renowned for our premium native ingredients, Tumbeela has gained significant media exposure, appearing on major television programs such as Gardening Australia, as well as being featured in numerous magazines and newspaper publications.

In 2017, Tumbeela Native Bushfoods was awarded the ‘Delicious’ magazine’s inaugural trophy for ‘The most outstanding Native Food Producer‘.
